The Scorpion really is a great asset for our Canadian coinage. It reads them all, even if they are freshly dropped. Those freshly dropped coins would sometimes be missed with my other machines. But not the Scorpion....it knows that they are coins. I am going to use this machine in newer sports fields where the finds are all in the 2-3 inches. It pinpoints just great on the front toe using the true all metal mode. That Groundhog Circuitry tweaks the detector towards gold conductivity targets, as it hits HARD on nickels. I like it! :)

Here's the truck I dug with a description and date.

You have a tough gig with the iron core coins. I'm glad that you have found a detector that hits them well. It would be interesting to know how the Stinger fares on gold in mineralised ground, but I've never heard of anybody giving it a go. I know that the GTI's can't cope despite the new circuit.
