Scorpion Gold Stinger - gold pictures

Here is a picture of some of the gold I found on vacation. There are three small nuggets found with the Scorpion - the rest were found panning.

I've heard that the Scorpion is hot on those match size nuggets. Looks like your photos confirm that. I wish that we had nuggets up here, but all we get is very fine flour gold in the river running through Edmonton. I used to sluice for gold in the summer. I must have shovelled enough gravel to cover a football field, but I was rewarded with about 1 1/2 ounces of gold. It was all this shovelling which kinds got me interested in metal detecting. So, about 10 years ago I bought a GTA 500 and have been regularly detecting since. I sold my pump and sluice box, but I still have my 3 tier home made rocker in the garage. Below is my total flour gold found in our river in Edmonton......
