Scored a little gold again today.

I took the Bandido for a real test hunt today. First to a old air force base's football field where I found lots of nickles and keys.
Mascard1 was hoping to meet me there but I guess he couldn't make it.
After about 3 hours there I headed off to a park before I had to get my son from work. A couple of more nickles and another set
of keys and a 10k gold class of '78 ring. No school mentioned on it but there is someones name so I can try research
it somewhat. It weighs 14 grams
Most real coins I found were nickles.( Corroded zinc doesn't count.) For all you who hunt with your discrimination set high I just want to say "Thank you."

I bet your wishing you would have gotten that detector sooner..whats your approach dig it all, or a little discrimination

That's okay mascard1. Yes the wind was a bit heavy out there but thanks to my Grey Ghost I had no problem.
Hey maybe next week we can hook up.

I left it in All Metal Elton. As soon as a nice solid beep sounded off I'd switch it to Disc. Disc is set at about 10 o'clock. If it
repeated I'd dig. I dig em if they sound good from both directions....I dig em if it sounds good one way but scratchy from the
other direction. Which is what the rings signal was like. It has a break in the band.
I think...don't quote me on this, but I think in all metal the coil grabs those targets better. once I have a good pin piont spot, that's when I switch to Disc.
If there's no signal after doing that I switch back to all metal and venture on. Is that reverse discrimination? It's also a handy
way to keep tabs on the ground balance. Come over to Sacramento El and I'll give ya some gold!

has always ben a long term plan to move there for me.
