SCORE!---not

I have been on a dry run now for several months. In the dark this morning I found a big heavy shinny mens band. Thought for sure it was 18k by the weight. After I get out of the water and check it in the daylight, it's just tungsten carbide. It is actually a very nice ring but it's only worth 1/10 the value. Damn. The drought continues.

Oh well.....on the bright side, a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring is a ring!

And you got a ring.

Tomorrows the day!

I hear you there Booty.:sadwalk: .those big tungstens have the right signal, and even with headphones on you can hear them clanking around in the scoop like a big gold one..then, when you get them in your hand and feel the weight and smoothness, its just perfect! Until the sun comes up and you have a good look!

Then, on the next big gold ring you find, you don't want to believe your eyes and its almost a letdown cause all the excitement was burned up on the Tungsten! Heres one that got me real good!

I feel your pain!!

I just got this one yesterday in the dark at the beach. The weight felt good in the dark, although the shape felt just to square and smooth.

I see I'm not the only one. Agreed, a ring is a ring. And after my dry spell, I'll take waterever I can get. Plus, it fits well on my middle finger. I sure was happy for an hour and a half though.
