scoop

Hi all
I am thinnking of making a scoop can any one tell me what the angle is between the basket and the handle
thanks in advance!

SS Jack, I've used a scoop with the handle at an angle of 30 deg. & a scoop with a handle perpendiculiar to the basket. I preferred the perpendiculiar handle because it was easier for me to lift the scoop off the bottom full of bottom media and keep it in the scoop basket. The angled handle scoop was easier to dig with but not worth the trade off.

I also found it much easier to haul perpendiculiar handle to and from hunt area. It sits on my shoulder and stays there without even holding it.

The angled handle scoop just didn't ride nearly as comfortably.

Hope this helps

HH Steve
