I know this has been addressed before but, I need to get a new saltwater wet sand scoop. I don't think I can wait until the "prototype" becomes available although that would probably be pretty good. For you long time water hunters that have tried most of them, what and where should I get a new scoop. Also some of the plus and minuses with the scoops you recommend. Thank you in advance. (I use an Excal in saltwater up to about chest level)

Call the toll free number and ask for Kevin.

Let him help you by telling him where you plan on using your scoop!

Ask him about stainless vs. aluminum and also get a one piece unit. (Don't do the travel scoops)

You want a scoop that fits your needs but at the same time it should not be a ball and chain in the surf.

I own two scoops and like them both...

The Babbs scoop is aluminum but has the stainless lip and its very strong for an aluminum scoop, I dig in rocks and gravel and it hasn't failed.

I also have a Sunspot and you won't go wrong here either:
