scoop for gravel, rock, and sand

Hello,
What would be a good scoop for packed gravel sand and rock? The rock is up to about 1 1/2 " maybe 2" in size but it is mostly packed sand and gravel to 1 1/4". Thanks for your tips in advance.

Best Regards,
Steve

Steve I have the Nuttall Diamond Head. I got it specifically for the kind of bottom you describe. However, if the rocks are too big and are packed together I have determined I have to dive it and physically move the rocks away till I get to the finer material and then I fan where the signal is. I suppose you could do it with a scoop but if there are lots of big rocks and the water visibility is poor, it's gonna be tough. Maybe somebody else has a solution. That's the best I can do for you. Jim

Thanks Jim, there are only a few rocks sprinkled around. It is the gravel that is fairly hard to break into. That Nuttall looks good, the point should break into the gravel pretty decently.

Thanks,
Steve

This is the only kind of bottom my "Poor Man's Backhoe" has ever known!!
