Schoolyard Gold

Went out for a short hunt at an old school I've had luck at before, and just before I left I stumbled on this little beauty. Tests out at 14K. Been on a dry spell with gold lately, so this one is encouraging. Even though it's small. I'll post the video clip shortly. Go get you some!

Congratulations. Any size or type of Gold is always a good find.

A nice 14K ring will brighten up anyone's day no matter what size it is!!:thumbup:

Man I've recently hit a elementary school yard that's chalk full of coins. Found two junk pieces of jewelry and one silver ring and I've only covered about 10-15% of the whole place.. was just thinking today that I wouldn't find any gold there because kids just don't ware it.. I'm gonna stick with it if not for the coins, but this gives me hope lol.

TN Mike;
I've heard plenty of stories about playground gold jewelry, tot lot rings n things. But I haven't had much luck in these areas myself. Most of the gold and jewelry I've found have been at the local parks and beaches. I do know, lot's of moms take their kids to any playground, including schools. Plus kids get into their parents jewelry and do some schoolyard show and tell with their buddies. So keep trying, and dig all the trashy signals. If your finding the nickels and even pennies, you'll find the gold and jewelry.

Excellent find.
