School yards and sandlot finds

Just got my new MXT and tried it out at the closest playgrounds.
Really like the ease and fast recovery for picking up targets.
I have purchased a small coil for the trashy sites as well as working close to playground equipment. I just wish it would stop raining all the time here in Northeast Oklahoma so I can go digging.HH Tony

Great finds. I especially like the crucifix. Is it marked as gold? even if its not its pretty special. You are going to love the finds you recover using the MXT. It is an awesome machine. HH Dennis in Idaho

Thanks for your comment Dennis.
I checked and it's not gold, it's costume jewelry with rhinestones.
I think it's like the ring, some kind of AVON jewelry. It is so cool to find the shiny stuff! I've found silver/gold rings and bracelets and always wonder who wore it last and where it came from. Thats the thrill of detecting, it is truly a window into time. When I dig an old coin or relic I try and envision who the former owner was and how long had the object circulated before going into the dirt , to lay until someone returns it to the light of day. Can't imagine what it must be like at a really old site. There are not too many places around here that are over 100 years plus.

Besides I see more and more people every month out trying to find treasure! I posted two more pictures of stuff Ive dug up last fall.
Thanks Again,Tony
