School yard v nickle and????

I was working late tonight at the local school so when I finished I spent about 20 min in the front yard of the elementary school
Dates to 1934 had a good signal on my deus it sounded like two coins first was a 1900 v nickle the second was a 1924 50 year commemorative
Token????
Which when I first saw it thought it was a $1.00 gold coin!!!

I found the same coin years ago, and thought for a moment I had a gold coin. It was about a foot away from home plate at a baseball field. It is a French coin. No idea on the value, but you could see what they are going for on Ebay. Anyway, good score and probably got your heart racing ?

Thanks for the info I have found a gold $5.00 half eagle this year which I can't believe.
