Saw this on the house today....gross

twice on the picture, you will get an enlargement of the picture that shows the spider's eye, and it appears that he was looking at you. Thanks for sharing. :clapping: Kelley (Texas) :)

:surprised: I'm with you Dave....gross!

Caterpillar had it coming! Another flashback!

We had a 'house spider' like that we named 'Max'..sheesh going back 30+yrs?....the young Daughter was scared of him, so we gave him a name, and told her, "Thats just Max, he is our 'House Spider!''...

You never knew where he was gonna be from one day to the next... come to find out, those kind dont spin a web, they walk around and hunt for stuff...got to be Eva looked forward to seeing Max, like he was a pet or something!...Now as an adult woman, She's not scared of spiders at all, or snakes either, or bums, turtles, toads, hippys, hitchhikers, lightening, thunder, bigfoots, bats, boogers, witches, and ghosts, not even sharks!......All because of Max!..:clapping:...

For some reason though, she is still scared of earthworms and slugs? I must have missed that one, cant figure that out?, me being a big fisherman and all? Musta overlooked the simplicity of an earthworm's scareyness, no bones or teeth or any eyes? Who woulda thought a guy had to cover that?...Hmm...? Musta mistakenly lumped them in under the 'Politicians' category?

I knew a lady with a big spider in her house too, and she named it and let it wander. I kill 'em right away.....whether that's good or bad I don't know. I'm just concerned that they might bite. Around here we have the brown recluse spider that can really do a job on you. Speaking of insects I saw a show on Asian Hornets that kill all other bees and one sting can kill an adult often. They're spreading all over the world because of climate change apparently.....very scary....but I'm sure there is more to worry about then hornets!
