Saw this MXT for sale......

I thought this was funny....Saw this for sale on the big auction site.....I guess this guy wanted to hold it for demonstration purposes and take a picture...Lol

Not necessarily this brand, but you'd be surprised at how many people I've seen using detectors in this fashion, especially the coil in that position. :yikes:

That's funny. Do you think this guy is really that confused as to hold it? HH, Nancy

Maybe we should try it might be a better way to hunt. I seen the same one and i have seen some with the coil backwards, maybe if we buy these they will be like new, if the people don,t know how to use them and just sell it off. Flintstone

I'm sure the lower rod would be causing a lot of interference, whether phasing it out with GB or in some other way. It would take the sensitivity out of the coils ability. It really looks ignorant, I woud be embarrassed to be around him at a park. I used to be embarrassed just using the old whites blue box detectors since they were made before I was born. lol

Is that a new detector? They have a video for it in the description posted in 2010.

The video is for the Coinmaster and Coinmaster Pro.

no money for upgrade, use the detector upside down! a new machine!

I also have seen a lot of people using the coil wrong like in the picture

At least the S rod is installed correctly. I can't believe how many people install the S rod upside down with the rod being closer to the ground instead of being in the up position.

Tiger Shark is a great Freshwater detector. I've used 4 different PI's, a Fisher 1280, Detector Pro Wader, White's BHID and BHID 300. I prefer the Tiger to all of them for my freshwater lake hunting. Saltwater is a different story.
