Found only clads..tide was not so far out, but I sloshed around in the water anyway to keep cool...it was humid out there today. Bring back the snow!!!

"Buff" is again in poorly pitted condition...that's the salt H2O for you! :cry:

You can just about make out the "ONE CENT" and the wheatie pattern on this coin :)

Gesh;What You Stink (Think) Is A Bad Day Is A Very Good Day For Someone Else---There Are Many Who Would Think They Had Hit A Lode If They Found ONE BUFF;Its Been 3 Years Since I Got One----Just Look At Poor VERN--He Has Not Got A C.W. Plate For Months And When He Did Find One It Was Worth Nothing Because The Was Nothing Like It Found Before---So Go Have A BEER And Celebrate With Chief Iron Eyes !

The Jefferson nickel sounds I have no trouble identifying. but these "Buffs" are quite different.....maybe it's the salt water or just the deteriorated condition of the ones that I find that gives off an erratic "mumbling " tone...not solid like the "Jeffs".although the pitch is the same as the "Jeffs"

And I am always surprised to find a "Buff" ...because of this erratic target sound....I knd of expect to see a piece of junk in the scoop.
