Saved a little guy from drowning today ........ :thumbup:

We got a heavy rainstorm this afternoon and when I looked out back I saw this little guy treading water as hard as he could.

[attachment 204096 snake1.jpg] I could see it was a harmless Red Rat Snake ( a good snake, I know it's hard for some of you to believe that) so I had to go out for a rescue attempt.

[attachment 204097 snake2.jpg] I was able to rescue the little guy so he could go back outside and keep the frog and lizard population under control and when he gets a little bigger he can take on whatever furry rodents he can swallow. He wasn't too excited about the rescue at first but he eventually calmed down so I could take his mug shot and let him go. Another successful day.
