Hooray, I got a nice, litle used 1350 from Brian Good in Washington . On top of everything else, it had the blank warranty card, which he never sent in. I'm curious:
Why would someone not send it in and should I now do so?
It adds a resale value feature later on if you plan to sell, I suppose, but you have no warranty coverage until you return it.
What's the generally accepted line of thinking on this matter?

He may have registered it online on Garretts homepage.
I would call Garrett and ask Marry.
you can send it in because you have a 5 year warranty anyway. All Garrett detectors bought this year have a 5 year warranty.

This is Brian from WA. David, just wanted to let you know that I never sent in the warrenty, nor did I register it on the garrett site. It is a totally blank warrenty as I stated when I sold you the 1350

I would send it in, However, since Garrett does monitor this forum, you just let them know!!!

maybe Garrett does monitor this site - I still think they are one of the best and I wont hesitate to send it. Thanks to Brian, as Ive said elsewhere - talk about service after the sale. Too bad all car dealers arent as good as him...
