I got out to a house down the street that is going to be demolished, asked the owner if he cared if I detected it, he chuckled and said " go ahead, but I've already been over it with my detector". I knew I was in luck when I asked him what brand of detector he had and he replied he couldn't remember, just one that his wife had given him for Christmas a few years back. He said about all he had found was quarters and pennies. I showed him the Etrac, with the probe on it, he was amazed with how it worked, and also thought the detector it's self was cool. He watched while I started hunting, and the first target dug was a 1944 wheatie, so he allowed how my detector might be better than his.
Ended up with 4 wheaties, 1-1944s, 2-1948d, and a 1951d. Found two of the same kind of token, that is pictured in the other photo. I thought that the brass thing in the left of the pic was a dog whistle, looks like it has a mouth piece on it, and is hollow, but there's nowhere for the air to come out if you were to blow in it. Had a enjoyable hunt, always good to get out and dig some. Thanks for looking. HH ken-ks
