Saturdays Hunt

Got out Saturday and hunted where a battle took place. Found several .50cal Smith's, couple of Confederate Enfields, .58 minnie, .54 and a .44. Also found a chewed bullet with deep teeth impressions. Top of the picture, don't know if you can see it very well but I found a slug like bullet that has a cone cavity, never found one like that before. All in all, it was a great day of detecting. Hope everyone had a great weekend. HH <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> Steve

Thanks Scott, Wow! you sure are finding a lot of relics out there. That tiny round ball you found with the little spur on it might be one of them Deane & Adams bullets. Don't know for sure but an interesting find to say the least. Great Job!
