Saturday's hunt produces 2 firsts :stretcher:

A friend and I went saturday to a turn of the century home place that had yeilded an 1854 half dime last year along with numerous wheaties and a neat sewing machine token. Well to get on with saturday's hunt. We had already hit two other places and Jim was getting sick of finding shotgun hulls with his F75. Neither of us had found any coins except one mem. penny. So we shifted over to the older site after getting lost for about 30 min. (GPS went this time) After looking for about 40 mins I went from all metal at 23 sens to patterns nulling out -8 and down. there is no pull tabs in this area so it was perfect. About an 1 hr into the hunt I hit a 32/42 at 2 in and dug bullet.. rescanned hit 42 at 4in out pops the 1912. the button next to the dime was found thurs evening. It doesn't appear to be metal except for the clip on the back... if anyone knows about the buttom or the buckle let me know...GH :detecting:
