:minelab::twodetecting:Here's a few pictures of Yesterdays finds: 86 Pennies, 17 Nickles, 16 Dimes, 8 Quarters, Two Silver Merc's-1942 and 1943, a couple of Wheat Pennies, One Junk Ring, One Duke Power Token, Lots of Misc. Jewelry items, One Game Token, 5 Keys, Large Old lock, Gold Plated Ring missing the Stone, and a Nice .925 Sterling Silver Nugget Ring. I found one penny that was much smaller than normal on its Diameter, has anybody found anything similiar to this? It appears to be on a copper Planchet. I would also appreciate any suggestions on how to clean the old lock and preserve it for display. Back in the 50's the kids used to grind a penny down to dime size to save 9 cents at the soft drink machine.

Great digs.....
Also try asking that question on the "RELIC FORUM" some of those guys may be able to tell you about cleaning and preserving the lock.
