Without getting too long-winded ... a while back I traded my SEF 10X12 for another coil (an X-12). Which I in turn, traded for yet another coil (an X-5). Well, I like the X-5 because it compliments my X-8 and stock coil very well. But I always felt like I should have kept the 10X12. Well I was lucky enough to find another one near brand new for cheap. And boy am I glad I did ... I nearly forgot how absolutely killer the 10X12 is. Found 18 wheats, 3 mercs and a buffalo nickel. Park badge looks like it's silver-plated to me. Not sure of it's age but there has'nt been any security at this park in decades. I plan on giving it to the Virginia, Minnesota Historical Society which is located on the park premises. Sort of as a thank you for allowing us to detect in the park without any hassles. Happy Memorial Day !!

Nice diggin's Dave

Nice finds. I think your decision to give the badge to the historical folks is a great one. Take some photos to keep in your collection and give it up in the name of goodwill and public service. Way to go.

Yes . . the 10X12 really is a great coil. I sniffed out another dime and a few wheats this morning. Love it !
