Saturday - Silver

Was getting skunked on Saturday, after a few hours was about ready to call it quits.
Heading in the direction of the car decided to hit a spot that I've been over a few times.
Got them in about 20 minutes and within seven feet of each other. Wish I would have
gotten them in the first 20 minutes, would have went home without shoulder pain.

Wow ... double Barber's - good job - congrats ! :beers:

Congrats on the Barbers!

".....decided to hit a spot that I've been over a few times......"

Strange how that often happens.
There's a small area i previously pounded to he11 that in the past gave up many oldies.
After getting skunked there a few times in a row i declared that area finally hunted out.
A few days ago, just for kicks and old times sake, i decided to search it once more.
Low and behold that area gave up yet another 9" deep Indian.

This is why i'm sometimes skeptical of claims that a different new detector turned up keepers missed by the old detector.
Maybe the new detector 'is' better or maybe it just found one of those 'phase of the moon' keepers.

Nice! Finding Barbers is near the top of what gets me pumped up while detecting.

I agree with that phrase "Phase of the Moon"!

It seems there are times you are just "on", or that the universe is determined to give up the goods. A place you pounded dozens of times, finally a string of skunks, then that one night where you just felt like you had to hunt, found a couple Merc dimes (or whatever) and have not had another find on that place the last 2 years. Until the Universe decides it is time again. . .
