Saturday - Seated Dime

Went over an area that in my mind I just *knew* there would not be anything worth digging.
Had a shallow signal that I just *knew* was going to be a clad dime. Just put the digger in
the soil enough to flip some dirt off the top. Out popped the Seated Dime, glad I didn't
scratch it.

very nice find! You seem to get a lot of seated dimes & those are very hard to find.

Hey Cruf, Don't you love when that happens? I did that awhile back while digging a new clad Quarter ...(I thought) and it turned out to be a Half dollar. Needless to
say I hunted that general area and nothing more but a silver Rosie 3-hour later after dark

Way to go on another seated coin! That one is a beauty! It's rewarding when that feeling to hunt a spot wins out over that feeling that it's not worth it. A few years ago, I kept passing on an area my wife said we should try that I thought wouldn’t have much. Turned out to be one of the best places we ever hunted, loaded with good finds.
