Headed out before the rain came back this morning and obtained permission from another old home.
I grabbed the II as I did not feel like wasting time switching shafts for the X-1 on the Pro.
I really had to work to get permission but, was finally given the ok.
My first dig was a old lock missing the clasp/loop then my second good dig was a giant intact heavy lock.
I then moved around to see what else was around certain areas and pulled a old Token then close by a Pendant.
My oldest find imho although value wise worthless but, finding it was priceless. At a good 9"+ I pulled out what I thought was a large penny until I put a wet towel to it and saw it was a King George 17?? Farthing. I thought it felt heavy and a tad bigger.
I think I see an 8 on the back but, I really need something stronger to make sure. You can easily see the Bust and the R. E. X. >. on the obverse.
I then moved to another area that was on the side of the old house and back to back got two Indians a 03 and 01 and a 15d Wheat.
I spent along time speaking with the owners and they told me to come back. They stated they have never allowed anyone to hunt it before (lucky me). We had a good time discussing history of the area and they told me there is question as to what date the home was built but, they believe the very early 1800s.
I spent about 1 hour hunting and about 1 hour chatting with them. I then had to rush back and get my grass cut before the rain came again.
I did leave the owner an old key, toy gun from 30s? and other assorted items.

Anyhow, I am quite pleased with today's finds as I like the Indians as they are in good shape and add to the Inj. count for this year but, I like the ole KG but, the lock might just be the most valuable?
Here are today's pics below.

Found a1d at the beach a couple of months ago but was very worn.
