Saturday Park Hunt

New member
Larry (NGE) and I got up early for a Saturday morning and headed out to a park that I've hunted a few times recently. We had a good time - the weather was beautiful and the other park goers were friendly. First signal right out of the gate was a 1919 mercury, so my hopes were high that we'd have some fun. I got 2 Indians (1891 and 1901), 8 wheats ('14, 16, 18, 19, 20 the oldies), a 1911S Barber dime and my first Barber quarter of the year - a very nice 1906 D. I also got a hand painted enamel circle pin, a very old brass ring marked "18K" and a little knob with a Nov. 12, 1896 patent date. Great day out at the park!

Um...WOW!:surprised:
Yes, Id say that was a GREAT day to say the least congrats!

Wow, wish I had old parks out my way :nopity:

congrats on the finds!!

Those Barbers are wonderful!!

Lovely finds! :clapping:

Sweet finds! I think I just need to move to any older area! Getting tired of modern clad!

Nice group of finds. That Barber quarter is pretty nice shape in that you can still read the LIBERTY on her headband and see the veins in the feathers of the Eagle. Congrats! HH Randy
