Saturday Park Finds November 24th

Hi Everyone,
Went out on Saturday to a park where we have done pretty good in past hunts, this has to be the only park that we hunt, that you don't dig any clad coins.
I detected a open field area that use to be part of a old campground. I spent 5 hours going to a crawl and did good for the time out. My finds of the day were,
1952 Washington, and two mercs 1924 & 1934 with ten wheats and a 1950 king george canadian penny. I went over the 1000 mark on the wheat cents this season,
and getting closer to the 200 mark on silvers. We have snow on the ground here in Michigan today, going to wait till the temps get above frezzing and head back out ,
this afternoon.

Happy Hunting
Dave

Nice job Dave, if Mother Nature cooperates just a LITTLE BIT, you'll hit 200 silver. Great year in anyone's book:thumbup:

Great season for sure crunch

Just left Irons Mi. and we had got 3+ inches overnite. The deer hunting was good but didn't go MDing. I've got my eye on a couple of older farm houses in that area and can't wait to hook up with the owners. This may be a 2013 hunt but I'm sure it will be awesome "permission granted that is"

Thx 4 post,

Moose.

Great lookin' finds Dave! We never did get together here in Nebraska. Maybe next year! Thanks for the pictures.

Way to go on the silvers and wheats! I am very impressed with your totals so far, and I hope you reach 200 silvers before the year is up.
