Hooked up with tabman and his new A T Pro this morning at one of our older parks. We compared a few targets, one of which happened to be my clipped 44 Mercury and the vdi was spot on (83-84) for him to see what a silver dime would read like. All I am going to say about his hunt is he seemed like he took to the Pro like a duck does to water....and his A T is no longer a virgin old coin detector.
My first silver came not to long after we began our hunt. A 1936 Washington quarter from about 6." About a half hour later I got the 44 Merc. I knew I had dug at least 1 wheat cent, but when I got home and washed the mud off all the coins, I discovered 2 more wheats and a nice surprise, a 1900 I H.
Tabman was still going to do some swinging when I departed so as not to be late for a lunch date with my wonderful spouse. Hope everyone had some good hunting, that could hunt. HH jim tn
