Saturday Morning Low Tide

Hit the beach this morning 3 o'clock for the 5 o'clock am low tide, some nice cuts forming and very rainy.Dont think it quit the 4 hours I was out in it. Ran Into Tony from Tidewater but did not see any other Pirates or nuts out in the rain. Plenty of targets down close to the water not much up around the cuts. Found a couple of ear rings, a pendant, and 1 want a be ring that really looked good in the scoop at 4 in the morning. Totals 69 pennies 10 quarters, 18 dimes, and 5 nickels[attachment 8346 SatMorningNut.JPG]

cutting into his penny pile, B U T i like it :) :) :)

Where is the blue beast

i do not think i am going to make it today - waiting for steve to show up now and then have to get off to the store for some grub and etc.................having B day party here on sunday for sister in law

good luck to all that venture out today and good luck to local pirates who do the same

Somebody has to get the pennies when I'm not around. I've been sitting it out, partly due to the rain and partly due to the recent lack of any decent finds down there. And I've been enjoying messing with my new toy too. :)

Honestly, every year about this time I get stuck in the "purgatory" of summer being over and the woods and fields not quite ready to go either. The finds are dwindling at the beach and the ticks are still out in the woods and the fileds aren't plowed yet. So unless there's a storm or some nice cuts at the beach or the rings start popping like crazy, I will probably be scarce down there.

That said, my Excal battery IS on charge and I may get a "wild hair" and head down there any time. Good luck out there...
