Saturday' morning hunt, Silver is always a plus but, GOLD is better.

I was able to get out with Will today for awhile.
I was thinking the weather man said it was going to be nicer but, he was wrong and dead wrong.
I woke up to a light raining mist this morning which stopped by the time I picked up Will and we headed out.
We had intended destinations so, we hit those and last re-gained permission at a 1870s school house where the owner had let us hunt prior then moved. Luckily we have hunted the next place up and we knew the old owners name and the neighbors so, they quickly gave us permission to hunt again.
The first place we hit was where my friend found his 6 silvers in a hole last weekend.
They had cut the grass but, even then it was really really wet. My feet and socks where wet and cold within 1/2 hour.
I hit the front yard which we where unable to do due to tall grass last week. My 2nd dig was a decent hit and I opened the hole and it was still in the bottom so I dug more and then I saw it in a clump.
The beautiful shine of Gold. It was a lady's or a guy with little fingers 14k Gold Wedding Band. I also got a neat older token that on the back has the Serenity Prayer (neat find) and a wheat.
We hunted around a tad longer here then moved on to the schoolhouse. By this time I figured it was going to be getting warmer but, it was only getting colder and so was I.
We hunted maybe 20 min. here and I was able to pull a 1888 Indian (which I fought like heck to get out from under roots) then we said we had to go as wanted to say hi to the neighbor and head home as today was just not even comfortable to hunt. When you add serious wetness, stronger winds and cold temps it takes the fun out of it.
Well, we have permission to hunt the old school and we will BUT, not on a day like today.
We where shivering to the bones as we finally left and to make matters worse early on I had noticed I had a pair of right handed gloves in my truck which where worthless in keeping both hands warm. :crylol:
Here is my finds as dug for today's wet cold hunt.
