Rob (IL)

New member
I hit the same spot as yesterday but no gold today. With the weather changing it was good to get out at all. Rob

Your cleaning up on them nickels Rob, allot of quarters and dimes also. Neat looking rings are you sure they are junk they look more tarnished then rusted up. Good job...

Did someone say "NICKELS"? :yikes: [size=large]Holy cow!!![color] I don't think I've ever seen so many in one outing. I KNOW I haven't! :please: Good going Rob. Now you are really making me jealous. Sure wish I didn't have this terrible cold :sadwalk: or else I would be out there with Larry hunting. That's one nice pile of coins. I'm glad to see you getting out before the snow comes. Thanks for sharing and HH to all...................that can get out, Nancy

You did good Rob!! That is a lot of nickles. HH Dennis in Idaho

The rings are definitely of no value. I was digging 14 and odd numbers after the gold ring yesterday. The first 14 I dug was the ring with the fake stones, I thought I had done it again. That's why so many nickels, besides the usual 16 - 20 range I was digging them from 14 - 22.

It just goes to show you about the Beep - Dig theory. I got a solid 26 reading, which is usually a tab. I pulled out a nickel which didn't seem right. I kept waving the coil over the hole and got a total of 6 nickels from the hole. Them I got a dime 2" to the left, a quarter just below the hole and finally another nickel 3" to the left of the hole. Rob

Holy cow Rob............what a haul. It's just a matter of time before one of those nickel beeps will be another Gold find.

Lots of clad ..A good hunt.:clapping:

So true.....(Quote) "It just goes to show you about the Beep - Dig theory." Boy, isn't that the truth. You never know what is beside, under or above the target. Thanks Rob. Just goes to show......dig dig dig. HH to all, Nancy

All be darn. Those nickels have my name on them.
