I got out with a fellow member for a Saturday morning hunt. It was not too hot but super steamy and we were drenched with sweat in no time. We headed to my spot that gave up good silver a few weeks ago hoping for some leftovers and we were not disappointed. I was using my new 10"x5"SEF coil for only the third time. The coil has proven in a short time to be a wheat magnet, but I hadn't found silver with it yet. I didn't wait long however. My very first target of the day ended up being a '51s Washington about 7" down. It hit hard reading 11,12-46,47 from multiple directions.
I ended up having a great day as we changed spots a couple of times. I ended up with the Washington, a '51 and '59d Rosie, and big silver (in color only) Special Olympics medal, a 1939 San Francisco Worlds Fair-Golden Gate Expo Token, given away at the Chinese Pavillion on Treasure Island (according to the interwebs), a Belle Isle Boating Co. token worth .10c in trade, '37 and '44d wheats, and $1.45 in Ice Tea money. The 3 silver coins take me to 22 for the year.
I'd say that is not a bad morning.

Silver in the plug
Can you see the quarter? It is there in the midst of an exploded, crumbly plug.
