Saturday Hunt filled with goodies

Got out Saturday morning with a fellow Shooter for a hunt. I started off the day finding 3 wheat, a tax token, and a Cool Exon travel club Token.....One of my best finds was a Gold something type of Ring about 4 inches deep. it has no markings, but it's heavy and looks to be gold, but I can't tell....Any information on it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to score more Silver, but I could only find one, a '52 Rosie. Ended up finding 10 Wheat's, with one of them being a 1919 "D". one of my Finds was a real neat 5 Cent one Soda Token.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable hunt with the assortment of finds. And even though the Silver hid from me for the most part, I didn't mind because when I'm out Hunting, it's pure relaxation. Thanks for looking, DirtDiga, aka looknforold

I'm probably wrong but from the pics, that ring looks to be brass especially IF you cleaned the inner band. Don't know why a solid gold ring would be painted over but anything is possible. Hope it does turn out to be gold. Nice find whatever its made out of.

I think you might be right on the Brass, it looks very close to gold in color when machined. that one glass token has a smooth back for those who asked, Thanks for looking, DritDiga
