I'll begin by cursing the weather man. Partly sunny and mid fifties must mean something else to him. I had to work at two so out for a few hours before. Temp never did get above 45 nor did the sun peek out from behind the clouds. I did leave my 2500 in my truck just in case I felt like a little more punishment after work. Much too cold for this boy, though. Another cruddy photo:

Three more wheats but no silver coins ever at this site. Not yet anyway. I did get silver jewelry piece number one in 2011 though! I find a lot of dolphin jewelry. A better photo?

One cool find that I was sure was a silver coin was the top of a salt shaker. It was quite deep, maybe 7 inches, and I found out that the ground below 5 inches is still rock hard ice.

Chris

My thighs are aching after only three hours worth of hunting in two days. Gotta get back into shape. Up to almost ten bucks in clad. Can my coin counting be far behind? (OK. 8944 from 50k lifetime just because my spreadsheet is still working fine!) Feels good to be back in the swing of things!

That is a good clad count.
I'd like your hunting coditions, here still three feet of snow.
We'll be lucky if we can get out before May

Yep , Thats a nice clad hunt for sure.A little piece of silver and some wheats makes it better. My thighs hurt from working my job , Would rather they hurt from detecting. Thanks for the pics. And never trust the the weather guy.............
