Saturday at the Park with MXT

Got to the park at 9am and what a wonderful morning. People were filtering in in big groups ready to play baseball!!!!
I managed to find a little clad and a watch (junk watch but a watch nevertheless) and a token. Useing the 6x10DD
I cut through the ground like hot butter!! Ironically the BACK of the watch reads RELIC! Struck me as funny. In a hundred
years time it really would have been a relic!

Thanks for posting your finds. What is the silver item in the lower right? HH Dennis in Idaho

Oh, some very thin kid's funny money! Just junk but what the heck.
I found a zillion pull tabs hopeing to find that ring! Dug every target today!
RR:goodnight:

Looks like you had a good morning R R, junk watches are better than pull taps. I use the 6 X 10 most of the time, I think its a lot better coil then the 9.5. Hunted my old store site again today made some nice finds. Will post just as soon as I get them cleaned up.

I know that pull tabs are a pain, but if you don't dig them you may be passing up some nice gold jewelery. I like to follow the guy who rejects the pull tabs or does't dig them. LOL HH Dennis in Idaho

I agree with you Dennis, I dig all signals 75% of the time they are pull tabs. But that 25% that is not, is usually good to great finds.

Glad you got out and found some items. The ground is perfect for digging. We've had some strange weekend weather around this territory. HH to all, Nancy

Yea the weather HAS been up and down. Rained yesterday (Sunday) but I went out anyway.
Left the MXT at home and took the Ace. Wrapped the control box up in sandwich wrap to
keep the rain out and used the 4.5 sniper coil on the gravel parking area of a sports field.
Found lots of clad! Nothing to brag about however. I'm saving the baseball diamonds for
a couple months down the road when the public has finished replinishing them.
Nancy, have you ever been out to the Sand Dunes in Indiana?
