Saturday Afternoon Silver

Got out of work a little after 11 this morning, and headed to a local park. Got in 6 1/2 hours swinging....A little chilly but it felt good to be out today. This park is one I found a few silver in last year but is the trashiest place I have hunted. A bed of nails, and throw in pull taps and twist tops.

I ran the SunRay X5 on the Etrac today. I have hammered this little park. Haven't gotten silver the last 4 or 5 times I hit it. The X5 is a CHAMP!!! I ran it with sensitivity cranked and was surprised at how stable it was. A little chatty, but when you hit a coin, you know it. Especially silver. There was never a doubt on any of the silvers today.

Pulled 4 merc, and 6 Wheaties, and a junker cross. along with a little bit of clad. Puts me at 7 silver and 27 wheats FTY.

I really gaffed the '45 with the Sampson!

Very nice silver mercs and even though the cross isn't silver, it's a nice one:clapping:

Congrats on your finds today. Looks like you put in a hard day & it payed off for you!
