Hit the back yard again. All three finds were at 8 to nine inches deep. The hook has an outside barb. I know of one lure that has such a barb but this hook was found deep and the eye broke off when I tried to clean it up a little. I can't imagine anyone using this size hook around here except for large catfish in the White River which is near here. The Hot wheels has no dates on the bottom so can't tell how old they are. Possibly 1968.

Man that hook must be huge! I use to catfish and mine were never that size. Maybe it was someone who would go to the ocean and fish? Cool finds though. No idea on the date of the hotwheels, but your probably close with your guess. Keep swinging.
