Mark, Tom and I hunted two demo house lots in North Houston today. My very first signal was a '54 quarter and the next was a '42 Merc. Then wheats and clad. Second lot within 10 feet of the truck, after noise cancelling, I got another dime signal and it was a '41 Merc, then a few inches away a squirrelly 12-31 which turned out to be a '43S nickel very blackened and thick. Then more clad and wheats. Finished the morning with the 4 silvers, another clad quarter, 9 clad dimes, 34 memorials and 14 wheats, earliest was 1920.
