Went back to the place I hunted Thurs.(place were I got the ring thurs.) to try and finish up there today. It'll take another full day as I got rained out today but managed 2 wheaties and this '1920 rough Merc and a couple memorials. On the way out I noticed a certain homeowner was finally home so I hit her up for permission and got another large property to do.....YES!!!!!! I'm on a roll with the private stuff lately. This place I just scored started as a 1 room schoolhouse, then for many years was a Womens Club, then back to residence. Been told by several locals that it was a BUSY place back in the day! A guy told me today that it was hunted at least once about 20 yrs ago by his parents. Asked how they did....he didn't know? Lots of knapweed in the big field and it may be a tuff hunt (?) but I'm excited to have got it and maybe I can post some goodies from there next week....?????
