Whoa! That mercury dime sure looks good. With all those wheat pennies there should be more silver lurking in the ground for you to unearth.

Maybe even a war nickel or two, if you keep the discrimination low.

Thanks guys....!!!! I've had maybe a 15yr. hiatus from hunting and one thing I've noticed is that the silver seems a lot harder to find nowdays. Mine have been coming one at a time with lots of hrs in between? Only advice I can give is keep swinging, slow down and listen, and only hunt areas that have a chance at some silver and you'll get some. Mine have been coming real slow.

Going over to Idaho tomorrow and should be able to sneak in maybe 6 hrs. of hunting over there. Lots more people and more history there compared to podunk MT. where I live now. Hopefully I can take some of their silver home to MT....lmao!
 
That is a sucessful hunt in my book. Great job! The only way to find silver these days is persistence!
