After several responses on another post I had, I thought it better to seperate this topic to a new post. Ive been researching rechargeble batteries, the pros and cons, and several posters had some very good input.
It seems holding a charge is a problem with many of the batteries, however an independent company has ,revolutionized??, the rechargeble industry. It seems Sanyo was one of the first to adapt the newer technology in their batteries and various other companies have followed suit.
The new technology allows nimh batteries to hold charges for a long period of time, very low drain while the batteries arent in use.
The Sanyo eneloop is just one and while it is rated at 2000 mah, its reported to keep its volt rating up longer than comparable nimh batteries.
I am curious if any of you have used these type batteries as I will more than likely buy myself 8 of these Sanyos and give em a try.
Thanks for any input,
John
