Sand Shark

Anyone know what size coils were offered for the older model.

i have the older interchangeable with the 8" round - 10.5" round - 3 x 18" coils. all i have ever used is the 10.5" round as it gives more detecting area. i air tested the 3 x 18" coil but did not like the results (4" depth) so i have never used it. hopefully i will give it some trial use this year as i can't see tesoro selling a coil that gave only 4" depth? actually, i have two 3 x 18" coils & one of them only does 21/2" in an air test. i don't remember there being a 7" round for the sand shark as even if there was i never would've bought it.
i have read that the 3 x 18" coil on the tiger shark was awesome but have never seen a used one up for sale!

I have a SandShark. To me I don't really trust an air test. It seems to work deeper in the wet sand. I would like to try a 3x18 but mine is hard wired.
Any ideas on the depth in the sand
