Sand Shark

Tesoro's Sand Shark is not junk by any means. It's a very deep hitting Pulse Induction ( no discrimination, you dig all signals) machine. It's the only waterproof machine on the market that has waterproof connectors which allow changing to different size coils. It's also the only company that backs up all their machines with a lifetime warranty. It's light and very well made. Gets 15-20 hours out of 8 AA batteries. Can't say enough good about mine!

After posting, I went to Ebay to have a look. Shoulda done that before offering up my sage advice, sorry bout that. What they're selling is definitely NOT a Tesoro Sand Shark. I don't know anything about that machine, but any company that would rip off an established model name like "Sand Shark" is probably not worth dealing with. Again, sorry for the confusin. Hope you didn't bid on one!

I have to point out that the Tesoro Sand Shark is not the "only waterproof machine" that allow changing coils. The Garrett SeaHunter Mark II also has waterproof connectors so you can switch coils and headphones yourself. Thanks
