Sand Shark was on the prowl today....

My buddy and I tried a new lake ( to us ) today and things started off very slow... we started on the beach and were amazed at the lack of targets ( not hardly any trash either.. found one pulltab between us).
I got two pennies and a nickel and my buddy got a quarter and two pennies.
We got word that someone detects this area, so we hit the water hoping that he was only searching the dry sand.
Things were much better once in the water and targets were showing up here and there.. enough to keep us interested.
I found a silver pendant and a ring that looks to be silver, but I can't find any markings on it at all.
This was the last target of the day for me.
My buddy found about the same amount of clad and one junk ring and junk earring.
I also found a dogtag with someones name ( similar to military style, but not military ) and a key that I turned in to the staff.
I don't think the guy that hit the beach does any water hunting.. hopefully not!!LOL
There are some other beaches nearby that we may try next time.
Thanks for looking,
Felix

That's a really pretty ring!

I need to get me a sand scoop and do me some beach hunting at a nearby lake. That's on my list of things to do.

Glad hunting got better for ya Felix, nice stuff, maybe the other guy can't swim and stays away from the water! Congrats

Give it a shot.. it sure is much easier digging and you don't have to worry about killing grass during droughts..
Also, lots of goodies get lost there too!!

Haha, I just might work,

I love my Sand Shark, have had it for a year and wouldn't trade it for anything!! Big advantage being able to get off the beach and into the water.
