Sand Shark prowling today.. hit gold!!

My buddy and I went over to a local swimming lake today the produced some nice finds a couple of weeks ago, but things started off slow on the beach with a few coins found and a couple of earrings.
After a snack, we hit the water and things didn't speed up much, but I did score this nice gold ring.. 14 karat white and yellow gold, size 6 1/4, and 4.4 grams.
I think this ring had been here for a while and was down below the sand in the clay.. had a hard time getting the scoop under it to bring it up and almost gave up on it.
Glad I kept up with the probing until I finally got it in the scoop.
