Sand Shark or Tiger Shark ..which one?

I just received my Cibola and I'm so impressed with the brand
that I want to get a water machine.

A few questions .....hope someone can offer some advive.

Can either the Sand Shark or the Tiger Shark be used in Salt Water and Fresh water?

My intended use would be mostly for Fresh Water lakes. Only rarely would I take a
trip and use it on a salt water beach.

I would appreicate any comments on these two machines and also ease of use etc...
Settings etc....

My thanks to all in advance!

If you are hunting fresh water, get the Tiger Shark. It is a "VLF" (very low frequency) machine, that is very good at getting small gold and silver up to 11" deep. A "VLF" machine must be "ground balanced" in heavily mineralized soils, and does not work well in saltwater. The Sand Shark, is a "PI" (Pulse Induction) machine that is not bothered by saltwater or heavy mineralization. It is an "all metal" machine that does not discriminate and punches very deep, like two-feet deep! I dug a soda can today that was 22" down, and a pull-tab that was at 17" - Terry
