Sand Shark for prospecting?

Nugget hunting is what the Lobo was designed to do best.

The Tiger Shark might be OK at it but a Lobo would be better.
If I were going to invest the time and resources looking for gold nuggets I would be using a tool designed to find them.

the pi minelabs fine alot of gold so why not the sand shark ? i have a sand shark and plan to nugget hunt with it any good coils? thanks

HI husabergchuck,
The Sand Shark will be extremly noisy in iron mineralised ground and will sound off over hot rocks. You could use it in goldfields where iron mineralisation is very low.
The pulse delay timings of the sand shark are set up for salt mineralisation and there is no ground balance adjustment. If you already have the Sand Shark then give it a go in the gold fields but if you have not purchased one yet then don't because you will not be happy with it as a gold detector, it is a salt water beach and scuba machine
