Sand shark for Iron targets

VaRelics

New member
I search for American civil war artillery shells and was wondering how deep the sand shark would detect a medium sized iron target in a marshy ground in VCO all metal? I can find a shell with my Tejon on dry land from 3ft to up to 4ft with a medium sized shell, will the Sand shark reach these depths on medium iron? Any other feed back for using the sand shark for relic hunting iron targets would also be helpful.

Thanks

Petersburg Va,

I have a hunting partner and we share sites but we have an agreement not to bring other relic hunters. I wouldn't even let him bring his son in law with him to one of our prime spots! We even joke that we wouldn't bring our own mothers there.

Regards,
