I took off to a local swimming lake for about 4 hours and searched from knee deep to neck deep..too dang hot for beach hunting LOL!!
First target of the day was a nickel and the next target was a challenge coin that someone told me they found in the water and then lost it themselves.. I tried searching for it last Sunday, but was searching where I was told it was.. it was a little further away from where they told me it was.
I only had about 30 minutes before the swimmers overwhelmed me and then I had to zig zag around all of that.
Still, I found two silver rings, a Saint Christopher pendant, and a pretty good clad count.
Earrings found turned out to be junk.
Found quite a few bobbie pins today too, but I didn't mind it too much.. gave me some more practice in recovering deep water targets... the magnet in my scoop sure helps keep those pesky things from falling through the holes.
Hope everyone had a great 4th!!!
Thanks for looking,
Felix
