Sand Sculptures at the Beach

The Sand Sculpture competition was held at Horseshoe Bay this weekend so when I couldn't sleep I got up early and headed down for a hunt. Conditions have been bad lately but I thought what the heck, better than watching the early morning news.

The beach was lined with sand sculptures from yesterday

A Nice grotto but no loot hiding in there either

No loot to post because my total take for 3 hours was a single quarter. Did that matter, well maybe just a little but it was a beautiful morning to be out hunting. I ran into fellow pirates Mark and Kenny, they fared no better, just a little clad each. It's a pirate's life for me.

Cheers,

Feral chickens???????........you have feral chickens in Bermuda?

It's still a great island but when you live on a tropical island you have to deal with rats, toads and giant cockroaches. The government takes care of the rats, toads get taken care of by the tires of the toenail, Baygon handles the cockroaches and our bouvier takes care of the chickens.

Our bouvier Bree has managed to bag 9 chickens and two ducks in the last 2 years, three of them while walking on lead. You just can't keep a good hunter down!

Glad everyone enjoyed the pics,
