sand scoops

Beggars Tomb

New member
I just picked up my first Detector, a Tesoro Tiger Shark, I love it so far just using it on land. I want to pick up a sand scoop so that I can start water hunting this summer. Can anyone recommend a good brand or type. Are the Jimmy Sierra scoops good, and is it worth the extra money to get a stainless steel scoop.

Thanks

I just picked up a great one from Al Holden. He has the best ones on the market at the best prices. Hands down he's the best.

The Super Pro by Jimmy Sierra is the way to go.

48" Handle and a kick down/forward plate ensure easy retrieval in dry OR wet sand.

The 34" 4-Way JOBE Scoop w/Magnet is also a preferred style as you drag the scoop toward you to retrieve the treasure.
