Sand Scoops - Everyone put in your two cents, please.

First, "Put In Your Two Cents", I know what it means, but does anyone know the origin? Let me know.

Now, Sand Scoops. I have been checking them out and these are my concerns. Give me your opinion and tell me which one you use and why.

Durability - Which ones last as far as strength and the effects of the elements. Do the plastic ones break? Do the galvanized ones rust away? Do the stainless steel ones hold up over time?

Digging - Handle placement. Speed and strength for deep digging. One for going 8" deep in sand quickly.

Sifting - Holes or Square Mesh, which is faster? Does the mesh last? Optimum size of holes or squares. 3/8" 1/2" 5/8"? How many holes are too little or too much as far as a disadvantage to the scoop?

Price - Best price for your choice? Give me your resource if you please. Thanks
